XYZ (Extra Years of Zest)
The purpose of the XYZ Organization is to embrace mission opportunities, entertain, inspire and inform the Senior Adults of Conyers, Rockdale County and the surrounding area, regardless of church affiliation.
To plan informative and entertaining monthly programs
To plan outings of learning which are both educational and entertaining in nature
Every 3rd Thursday in the Gymnasium of FBC Conyers, the XYZ has an organizational meeting and fellowship meal. Meals require reservations at $5 per person and the meeting starts at 10:30AM
Each month the XYZ sponsors a special project which encourages members to be active participants in ministry. These projects allow any person to be on mission for God!
Our Mission Projects have included the following organizations: Project ReNeWal, Refuge Pregnancy Center, Rivers of the World, My Special Friends & Learning Center, Rockdale Cares & Light House Village, Rockdale House For Men and Women, School Supplies, Rockdale Emergency Relief, Developmental Disabilities Ministry, Rockdale Emergency Relief, Department of Family and Children's Services, Foster Parents and Meals on Wheels.
